Jenny Jackson has studied multiple styles of yoga including Hatha, Vinyasa, and Anusara. She names Maureen Rae, Michael Siddall, Louise Hanly, and Todd Norian as her primary teachers of influence. She has over 1000 hours of accumulated formal yoga teacher training. Over the years, Jenny has gravitated to her own unique style of teaching that is intuitive and creative while simultaneously being inspired by a deep respect of anatomical awareness and safe alignment principles. She respectfully weaves the traditional and classical teachings such as the Vedas and the Sutras into her classes, so that her students can explore inspired practice rich in contemporary physical asana while respectfully infusing of the classical. She incorporates meditation, pranayama (breath work) and mantra into many of her classes.  

Although she is most known as a challenging teacher who loves supporting students in their growth and practice both on and off the mat, Jenny always teaches with an awareness of who is in each of her classes, and what their specific needs may be on any given day. With modifications and options offered throughout each practice, Jenny skillfully creates a yoga experience that is accessible to yogis of virtually any level of ability or experience, regardless of age, size or gender. Expect a class that is well planned, balanced, full of variety, humor and excellent cueing.
